Creating a page is a simple and fast way to invite your friends and community to support Disability Rights Washington. Follow these 3 easy steps: 1. create a Join Me account, 2. personalize your fundraising page, and 3. share your page with friends, family, and community by email and on social media.

Step by Step Guidance: Create Join Me Account.

1. To create a Join Me account, click on “Click here to join” below. You need to create this account even if you have an existing account with Greater Giving. You will need to provide and verify your email, and create a password. Create an account and login.

2. Under "Create new activity," select "Create."

Edit your personal fundraising page.

3. Personalize the fundraising page. On your Personal Fundraiser Activity Dashboard, select the first task entitled “Edit your personal fundraising page | View your page.” You may personalize this page by editing any of the boxes with an edit sign including: Page Title, Progress Text, Fundraiser’s Image, Fundraiser’s Text, and Other Page Settings. Editing any or all of these fields is optional, providing you the chance to personalize your message about why you are supporting Disability Rights Washington’s Breaking Barriers event. If you have trouble saving, try refreshing the page.

4. Do not forget to modify your Other Page Settings, in which you can select donation amounts and set your individualized goal.

5. Click done at the bottom of the page.

SHARE YOUR PAGE

6. You are done creating your giving page. Now you can share it by emailing it to your friends or sharing it on social media.

7. On your Personal Fundraiser Activity Board, you select the second task entitled “Email friends and family” to send your page with a note to friends and family by email. You also can select the third task entitled “Promote your page” to share it on social media including Facebook and Twitter.

VIEW YOUR PROGRESS

8. You can continue to visit your page to view your progress towards your fundraising goal. Just sign back into your Join Me account. You can even re-share your page if you want to increase attention or share the great news if you have met or exceeded your goal.
